Feedback

Ultra Swank has been around for almost three years now and I thought it would be a good idea to check in with my readers. So if you are a frequent reader of this blog, I would very much like to know what you think of it.
What do you think of the content? Is there too much of something - or too little? What do you think can be improved? How do you like the comment function? Does it work correctly? Do you like that it opens in a dynamic window? And is there something on this blog that isn't working correctly for you (anything that looks or behaves in a awkward way)? I am trying to make some improvements on the blog and I really value your feedback. Please take a minute or two and post some feedback in the comments so we can make this blog even better, thank you!

Love the the swank-tastic vibe of the blog, especially the large-sized photos of restaurants, cars, and pads of the past, which make lovely wallpaper for my 'puter.

Thank you for your valuable input, keep that feedback coming! More compilations are under production, hope to release the next one at the end of summer!
Cindy, I don't know where you can get that Doris Day song but perhaps you could try on Soulseek?

Hey Chris
Love your blog - the music compilations are fantastic and the images are great. You even inspired my first cocktail party - thank you very much.
I have your blog in my RSS feed and visit whenever it is updated.
I'm currently trying to find more music / info about Roger Webb who has featured on one of your compilations before - any ideas?
Keep up the UltraSwank

It's all good, great art/visual collections that compliment the occasional music.
I also think it's an important visual archive of times past.
Should you ever decide to finish blogging please don't remove it.
You blog is a work of art.
best regards

Anyone visiting this site is likely to already know about this, but just in case someone doesn't it's worth mentioning. Capitol Records has put out an excellent series of Ultra-Lounge CD's since 1996 that fit in perfectly with the theme of this blog. They used to have a great website, but it's been having problems for quite some time now. But it's easy to find out more about them at this link:

I of course ADORE your blog and I'm in the distant oasis of Bakersfield. Soon my little mag SWIZZLE will go electronic--I know I'm old--but keep up the good work you crazy Swede!

Hi, Chris!
I love your blog - your pictures, your compilations - everything! I, too, love the era of "swank living". I just bought a mid-century modern house a few months ago and have decorated 50s/60s as much as possible. At my housewarming, I even played some of your compilations. (I also have a link to your blog from my blog.)

Hi Esther!
Of course I know who you are, been to your blog many times in the past! Mid-century house - lucky you! I am getting kind of jealous here hehe, guess you are somewhat older than me (29) seeing you can afford such a lovely house? :D
Thank you for your input!

I just discovered your page so I can't speak with the same experience level as the users of 3 years, but I love this blog from my limited time with it. Your taste is exquisite. Don't change - you.

This is an excellent blog, especially the art. (Also enjoy the music too, which is how I found this blog.)
Mod Europe, Retro US, those styles are a lot of fun. Personally, I like the US space age/UN jet set (Pam Am/TWA) style as well, which is not as swanky but nicely co-exists with the cocktail culture in the same design universe.
Excellent!
