Ride the Peoplemover
This is a photo from Disneyland probably taken in the early 1970s. It depicts an attraction called "The Peoplemover". It was meant as a demonstration of futuristic technology, suitable for moving people around urban centers, airports, shopping malls and what not. It was introduced in 1967 and took the passengers for a ride around "Tomorrowland" at Disneyland, with the light weight tunes of Buddy Baker's playing in the background. The ride was closed in 1995. But today I'm letting you relive the excitement, thrills, and fun as you ride, the peoplemover!

My name is Chris and I live in Sweden. I love the 50s and 60s lifestyle and design. I am very fascinated by the architecture of the period too, for instance googie, modernism, the work of Joseph Eichler, John Lautner and Arne Jacobsen's international style. I have a large archive with space-age, library, bossa, cocktail, retro soundtracks and exotica music. I also believe that things were better in the old days.

they've got one at disney world in orlando that's essentially the same as that one that i rode in 2000
